Dear Mr. Hobson,
I notice a new posting to your website. It is interesting that you post without asking for verification of the details involved and by presenting only part of the letters in question.
Allow me to answer you question What *demon drove [drives] Bawden to invent gross untruths and publish them to the wind? I am publishing the facts as I saw them from Peter Tran Van Khoat, who himself personally denied to me that he believed that Siri was Pope. Khoat never named Siri as Pope Gregory XVII to me. If I had been convinced wouldn’t I wanted to have known Siri’s name in order to place it in the preces feriales at Lauds and Vespers during Advent and Lent?
And then I am supposed to be approaching a bishop, seeking ordination. This is news to me. First of all I was to aware that Khoat was a bishop. I do know of the statement of Donald Sanborn: Objection 2. Abp. Thuc “went in and out of lucidity,” hence the consecrations are doubtful. The source of this story, it turns out, is a Vietnamese priest who claims he once met Abp. Thuc. This same priest also claims that Cardinal Siri was a “secret pope.’ And that Siri made him (the Vietnamese priest) a bishop and cardinal in a secret ceremony in the sacristy of a Genoa chapel where Siri had just celebrated the Novus Ordo. All this, no doubt, gave the priest unimpeachable qualifications for judging other people’s “lucidity” … This was sent to me several years ago. Also Khoat did say to me that Bishop Peter Martin Ngo-Dihn Thuc offered to consecrate him bishop, but that he declined the offer.
No, I am not inventing untruths, but reporting the facts as I know them and in their proper context. I notice that you do not refer to the email of Teresa Louise Stanfill Benns: I assume you mean that Bawden sought ordination via Khoat. One of his many errors. I guess you did not want to quote her about all of us having damned souls.
Of course, on May 2, 1989, there was a sede vacante. Let us conjecture that Siri was indeed Pope elected in 1963, as the story claimed when I met with Khoat. He died leaving no cardinals, for a cardinal created in pectore loses his position as cardinal the moment his pope dies. Further Siri never publicly claimed to be pope and Khoat only said for a time in 1988 that he thought Siri was Pope, but reversed himself in 1989, accepting Karol Wojtyla as Pope, when he stated that he liked the position of Lefebvre in regard to the Pope. And let’s face it, Khoat met with Lefebvre in 1988 as your own website proves with the Swiss train ticket you published a while back. Had I known this in 1988, I would never have contacted Khoat. Why are Khoat and Giuffre soft on Lefebvre? I have always wondered that.
However, let us look at this objectively. In 1990 Teresa Benns proved that the 1963 conclave could not have been valid in Will the Catholic Church Survive the Twentieth Century? (I recommend you get Khoat’s copy of the book, which was sent to him and Mr. Comiskey in May of 1990 and read it cover to cover.) Further she proved that Siri could not have been Pope. It was only after this proof was published, which also proved beyond doubt that Angelo Roncalli was a heretic prior to his election, as I requested Teresa to do, that the Siri theory suddenly mutated. On June 3, 1990 Khoat confirms that the Papal See is vacant. This is the first mention of anything concerning the 1958 conclave. I wonder why Giuffre did not look into this? It is interesting that Will the Catholic Church Survive the Twentieth Century? reports that Ottafviani was elected on October 26, 1958.
Why did everyone want Roncalli to be pope? Now remember Khaot followed the 1960 calendar institued by Roncalli in the heretical decree Rubricarum Instructum, which is based upon Modernist propositions. Further he used a John XXIII Breviary. I know this to be true, because when he omitted the Feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin on March 17, 1989, celebrating the Mass of the Friday of Passion week, I checked to see which Breviary he used and checked out the calendar of Roncalli. This was when I realized that many feasts of the Blessed Virgin had been reduced to mere commemorations and made optional.
Further research proves that Khoat and his friend Dan Jones also believed the Papacy was vacant on July 16, 1990. So, if Siri was Pope, then I am Pope, having been elected in good faith by Catholics during a vacancy of the Apostolic See. This makes far more sense than your unnamed pope, who has approved your website. You have now promoted Khoat to Bishop. How long until you promote him to Cardinal? Notice in his June 3, 1990 sermon he says: Cardinal Camerlengo really has sent to us a great and exciting news today: the calling for a new conclave. Here he is implicitly denying that he is the Cardinal Camerlengo. So who was this fictitious Cardinal Camerlengo?
We have the testimony of one man, Dr. Peter Tran Van Khoat, that Siri was Pope. And when did Khoat get his doctorate and where, or is this another invention? And his testimony has varied substantially over the years, which makes it utterly worthless. Further, I recently ran across a report by Teresa Benns. In March, 1989, Khoat denied the doctrine of infallibility! And there are several witnesses to this act of heresy. Since heretics cannot testify in ecclesiastical court, we must dismiss Khoat’s testimony.
No, Khoat’s words and actions demonstrate that he rejected Siri, at least for a time. In fact, Khoat’s actions accept my own election as valid. You may ask how this can be true. Khoat was well aware of the Papal Election to be held on July 16, 1990, but he took no action to try and stop it. So by the legal maxim silence gives consent, Khoat consented to the Papal Election on July 16, 1990. Further based upon Khoat’s claims, there has been no election since Siri died to elect a successor. So according to the Siri proposition, the Papacy has been vacant for almost 19 years.
I strongly recommend that you tell the rest of the story, and not just your slanted page, alleging that I supported Siri. The Papacy became vacant on October 9, 1958, as demonstrated in Will the Catholic Church Survive the Twentieth Century? On July 16, 1990 six Catholics gathered after attempting to summon all who might be qualified to vote world-wide and proceeded to a Papal Election. All was held in accordance with Catholic doctrine and Canon Law, therefore the election cannot be questioned.
I plan on publishing this letter to the internet and to continue publishing any facts I come across, so that people can come to knowledge of the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I strongly recommend that you make a trip to Port Arthur, Texas and do some research into the newspapers and into Khoat’s background. From what I do know, there is something there that you ought to look into. Of course, you may be too busy promoting the American Hospital in Vietnam run by Dr. Khoat. I do not know what Khoat was in to. However, I have a strong suspicion that soon you and Khoat will announce that Khoat was elected as Pope on July 15, 1990 by the Siri Cardinals who all now happen to be dead. Of course, you will have to change the Pope in Red to remove Pintenello. You do forget to mention the alleged connection between Pintenello and Victor Von Pentz who was Linus II for a while before his virtual resignation. Nothing would surprise me.
Mr. Hobson, I recommend your shut down your sites, study the Catholic Faith and come into the Catholic Church under the true Pope rather than promoting the heresiarch Peter Tran Van Khoat, whose testimony shifts with the wind.
Pope Michael
