Mr. Giuffre wrote at least five parts of a series Exile of the Pope Elect, which appeared in Sangre de Cristo Newsnotesedited by Daniel Jones of Westcliffe, Colorado in the late 1980's and early 1990's. (Newer reports indicate eight parts.)
The title Exile of the Pope Elect indicates that Siri was never Pope.
Mr. Giuffre is part of Traditional Catholics of Greater Houston Inc., which runs Saint Jude's Shrine, a Traditionalist chapel, at which a variety of priests have served including a Thuc Bishop and Marcel Lefebvre.
It is interesting to note one story. One of Lefebvre's priests serving Saint Jude's Shrine, was found to be in to hard core pornography. This was discovered, during routine cleaning of the priest's apartment. Since Lefebvre was due for confirmations in May of 1976, Giuffre waited and confronted Lefebvre with the evidence. Instead of dismissing the priest, Lefebvre promoted him throughout the next seveal years, although this priest eventually departed from the Society of Saint Pius X.
The intersting point to this story is that despite knowing of this, Giuffre on two occasions indicated in letters that he wanted to seek Lefebvre's help in establishing Siri in the Papacy! Soon one of Giuffre's stellar priests, Peter Tran Van Khoat departed for a time from the Siri position to Lefebvre's position in regard to the Papacy. Despite knowing this, Giuffre retained him as priest for Saint Jude's Shrine.
